Now it may not be the most sophisticated fragranced shower gel available, however Hermes’ Eu de Manderine Ambree will always have a place in my bathroom. I first found it in their Florence store around 3 years ago whilst looking for a gel that didn’t make my skin dry out. After using it for the first time in my hotel, it was like bathing an orange grove in the South of France – delectable, zingy and fresh. Notes of grapefruit give the aroma a slight edge, whilst base notes of amber hugs the skin for hours on end. Since then, I have rushed to my nearest store the moment I am about to run out to replenish. Whilst it is a hefty £28, it lasts for around two to three months of daily use as you don’t need to use a lot per wash. It is a little bit of luxury every bathroom can afford.
