It was a while ago that I was invited to the 34th floor of The Shard, central London for the launch of the new fragrance from Bentley. Designed with a distinctive man in mind, Momentum and Momentum Intense are packaged in a strong, rectangular bottle that is reminiscent of an emerald-cut diamond. It really is a striking bottle that looks great on a bathroom or bedroom shelf, particularly when the brushed metal facing is embossed with the imposing and distinctive Bentley logo.
During the evening, attended by a host of mens and fragrance influencers, I was more drawn to the Momentum Intense. Why? I found the notes of bergamot, grey amber, sandalwood and musk a far more attractive scent, particularly if you – like me – prefer a heavier fragrance. Whilst the Momentum has a fresh and aromatic aroma with a vibrant injection of woods, I found it lacked a clarity against the other – however, for those who prefer a lingering yet subtle scent it is ideal.
Having been in exclusively available in Harrods for the month of March, it is now available nationwide priced from £59.
