I saw this exceptional collection from Roux at Jacket Required a few months ago; tactile, well constructed and represents the best in street wear or more commonly, athleisure. Continuing with their sportswear inspired casual pieces, Spring Summer 2016 sees Roux. draw reference from photographer Matthieu Venot and his use of clean, uncluttered composition and bold pastel tones. Strong oblique lines, open hem silhouettes and a soft dusty pink are used against light grey and navy to offer a progressive yet commercial collection.
Statement pieces such as the mesh lined M52 canvas Parka and vented suede Bomber compliment the soft cotton twill tapered chinos, signature 4850 ‘Open’ and collarless Shirts along with their statement loopback jersey story of sweatshirts, joggers and shorts. Also, UK hand printed t-shirts and embroidered basics also continue to play a prominent part of the collection along with seasonal accessories including lightweight beanies. Menswear perfection.
