LOUIS VUITTON NEO ETOLE
ROLLING DUFFLE BAG
With innovation, heritage and a superb aesthetic, Louis Vuttion have announced the launch of this new duffle bag; the Neo Etole. Whilst it is not an update to the iconic keepall, this new soft piece of rolling luggage remains ridged and has the famous durability of the likes of the Pegase suitcases. Having once owned the bowling bag shape in the classic monogram, I have however, always adored the Damier Graphite – a great, masculine alternative to the classic shade which also has a fantastic amount of modernity.
With a wide U-shaped opening, the smooth and silent wheels will glide through St. Pancras or Heathrow T5 with ease, whilst all of the components have been newly developed, a sign of the houses dedication to innovation whilst looking back to its heritage. Easily thrown over the shoulder for a fast-paced jog to the gym or past airport security (yes, we have all been there), the Neo Etole 55, above, and Neo Etole 65, below, weigh a featherweight 2.5kg and 2.7kg respectively making these one of the lightest rolling bags on the market and the lightest in Vuitton‘s history. This is not the only lightweight feature to the two bags; it is also relativity light on the wallet; with the 55 amounting to £1,460 and the 65 to £1,670 – not bad considering it has been tested to show it will withstand a once weekly use for the next 10 years. Impressive…
