YMC SS13
This was one of my favourite collections at the London menswear shows for SS13, the YMC offering that just shouts 60's Californian cool and an 80s casual attitude. The prints and fabrics are very natural and the flow of the silhouettes are great with fluid, unrestricted lines.
The piece, worn by model Isaac Carew - an LSoD favourite - is a new interpretation on the dress casual suit, but slightly less fitted with longer proportions than other catwalk short suits. It gives it an element of the carefree, making an effort with out much sweat that has a great attitude about it. But one piece, well, two really - that stand out for me are the Clarks Originals x YMC collaboration shoes, immediately below. I remember seeing the pieces at the press day and they are a great partnership and I can't wait to get some more in the brighter colours - as I have these ones here.
