Last weekend, making my way from Piccadilly towards Knightsbridge I saw the Burberry Van, a romantically retro van stacked with Burberry boxes. No, it was not on its way to a wealthy client but in celebration of the festive period, a Burberry festive van can be seen circulating through central London. It really is worth a special spot or follow, and updates on the van’s journey, which includes iconic London locations, are being posted on Burberry social media platforms including Instagram and Twitter. It’s just a great touch to Christmas, isn’t it?
The famed and iconic Brit Brand is also throwing an open-house shopping event tomorrow on Thursday 13th December, where Burberry Regent Street, Bond Street, Knightsbridge, Covent Garden and Westfield are open for customers to celebrate the festive season exploring the collection – where champagne and canapes will be served from 6pm in all stores. If the chance to shop and drink was not a reason enough to indulge in Burberry this Christmas, a pop-up store has opened in Harrods and features Burberry Prorsum bags, accessories, watches, heritage rainwear, ready to wear and a selection of exclusive pieces. Never far from the edge of great innovative technology, the space incorporates four Brompton Road windows and shoppers can purchase directly from the windows. What a way to spend a day, literally, window shopping…
