If you were in London (or anywhere in the South of England) you will have experienced a wonderfully summery weekend, bar Sunday's brief thunder storm. I was up for the three days at Brad's new apartment in East London; on Saturday wandering from Hoxton and Shoreditch to Brick Lane, ending with a lunch at Spitalfields. Then on Sunday, having a lazy morning followed by a wonderful indoor picnic just after the storm hit.
On the way up on Friday, I took the opportunity to have my first use of some over-ear Goji Tinchy Stryder headphones on my laptop. Plugging them in on my MacBook, I mellowed my way through the rolling countryside to the sounds of Jodie Harsh, Kris di Angelis, Yelle and a few more, guilty pleasure, mainstream tracks. The sound quality of them is pretty good, with 101 db of sound coming through a 50mm speaker from a 400 mw input, giving them supreme sound and great playback.
I wonder what choons will take me up for the Bank Holiday weekend?
