Despite the snow troubles yesterday, a handful of bloggers headed out to east London for an intimate bloggers lunch hosted by Braille. With champagne and a delectable offering of kale beef and organic canapes, we browsed the current AW10 collection at the pop-up store as well as the new SS11 ‘Colt’ collection.
Inspired by the modernist design of Palm Springs, California juxtaposed the natural surroundings and landscape of the Agua Caliente Canyon, in the same State. The Colt collection is incredibly clever, with details that I don’t think I have seen before, such as reflective threads imbedded into tweed paneling on jackets, or a jacket with hidden pockets, button (it’s magnetic) and sleeve zips.
Other highlights of the collection include sheer cotton shirts, linen tailoring with fish skin detailing, and volumous waxed coats that have been produced in Scotland and crafted in London.
I will let the following pieces to speak for themselves – modeled by Eric from Premier Model Management – and explore the range online here or visit the pop-up store before 5th December at 54 Rivington Street, London, EC2A.
