Ally Capellino for Liberty of London

There are bags, and there are bags. One such name, Ally Capellino, is an accessories designer who is not only celebrating the 30th anniversary of her label but 30 years of exquisite crafts-woman-ship.



To celebrate the anniversary, Cappellino has re-designed a bag for Liberty of London, with another for women, plus the store is putting on a fore-running exhibit before the main event at The Wapping Project on the 23rd April.

The men's Frank Rusksack is produced in a fantastically soft blue leather, with contrasting tan leather buckles that is lined with Liberty of London print and features an embossed label. The bag is just huge, which I love...



As for the exhibition, during April Liberty will host an installation on the main stair case that will start on the mens floor working its way up. This fore-running exhibit is just a little taster of a retrospective of Capellino at the incredible The Wapping Project which is housed in a former pumping station.
